Teazle joined our herd in March 2012.  She has been a wonderful addition with her sweet, laid-back disposition and excellent conformation.  Teazle is an easy doe to work with, and tends to stay low-key within the herd.  She can easily be hand or machine milked.

Jillian joined our herd in March 2011 as a yearling first-freshener.  She was a slower-maturing doe, but well worth the wait.  She has produced mostly daughters for us.  Two of her daughters are in New Hampshire, and their owner reports that both does are producing over 1.5 gallons of milk per day each, and continue producing well into their pregnancy.  We also have  two of her daughters in our herd.

Jillian is best suited to machine-milking.  Not that she misbehaves, but rather she has really strong teat muscles and small orifices, so it takes a lot of hand strength to get her milked out.

Jazmyne was our first registered dairy goat.  She has taught us a lot over the years.  She has an awesome, socked-on udder.  All of her daughters have been nicely level with well-attached udders.  Jaz has produced triplets her last 3 kiddings.  All have been exceptionally nice.

Judda joined our herd in the spring of 2013.  We loved our Slate Woods ‘J’ line Jazmyne so much, that when we had the opportunity to add another granddaughter of Juniper’s Jazmyne, we jumped at it.  She is a long, tall doe.  Judda is well on her way to earning her *M designation.  We have 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters in our herd, and they are all maturing beautifully.

Solitaire joined our herd in the summer of 2015.  Solitaire has exceptional length and height with a level top-line and strong feet and legs.  She is a big, powerful doe.  Solitaire easily earned her *M designation last year.  We have retained her 2015 daughter.

Marcia is one of the foundation does in our herd.  Although she isn’t eligible for registration, she was our best demonstration doe, so we decided to retain her primarily for introducing children to milk goats.  Some of our younger does have taken over the demonstration job, so Marcia’s looking for a more leisurely life.

Chickadee is a First-Freshening 2-year-old.  She’s an awkward teenager, but, much like her dam and granddam, I expect she’ll mature into a stunning adult.  She is 75% Nubian/25% Alpine.

She is well started on the milk stand, and is very well behaved.  We have only machine-milked her, but feel she would transition to hand milking easily.

I don’t have any current pictures – picture will be updated soon!

Raina is a continuation on my Experimental Nubian/Alpine project.  Her sire is a Nubian/Alpine Experimental buck, and her dam is Nubian/Alpine/LaMancha Grade Experimental.  Her Granddam, Rebecca, should make the Breed Leader list for her 2016 lactation (pending).  This doe has lots of milk and style behind her.  Having just freshened on 5/19/17, it’s difficult to determine how much milk she’ll produce, but she has a nice, well-attached udder that should continue to develop capacity as she matures.

I don’t have any current pictures – picture will be updated soon!

I am having trouble loading pictures at the moment.  If interested in any of these animals, please do not hesitate to contact us for pictures and/or more information.
